There has been a lot of speculation over the years as to why the population has continuously grown obese. Many people attribute this to the amount of food Americans have grown accustomed to, these people would not be wrong.
But there is one culprit that is taking most of the heat for this situation. Red meat has been labeled the enemy when it comes to dietary problems within this country. The truth is that red meat is not to blame for the obesity that has taken over America.
In fact, there are many more products and foods that do much worse for people than they think. For example, carbohydrates and sugars have been proven to be a larger risk than red meat.
It’s not what you eat it’s how much you eat
It is all about the amount people consume. If you manage to eat red meat once or twice a week you will notice that there won’t be a decrease or a spike in your physical health. But if you manage to eat red meat two or three times a day, you might feel the problems that are associated with high volumes of red meat consumption.
Over the years people have been obsessed with red meat and the problems it is associated with. The truth remains that the problem stems from the lack of self-control many people have when it comes to eating certain foods.
For example if people just geared that hunger towards certain vegetables the obesity rate would go down significantly. Instead they love the taste of red meat so they continue to shove loads of it down their throats.
Red meat isn’t the problem you’re the problem
The problem was never the food you consume; it has always been the amount you eat. Since the 1970’s statistics have shown that as a population we actually eat much better now, our vegetable intake has gone up and our red meat intake has gone down.
So just to top it all off we have shown signs of improvement over the last couple of years. People must begin to understand the problems they have caused for themselves. Instead of pointing a finger they should look in the mirror. For example McDonald’s never forced you to have two burgers in one sitting, you made that decision on your own.
The truth may be a little harsh but it must be said. With all the documentaries and articles blaming the food and its producers it been hard to listen to the media about this issue. How come there are no articles or documentaries about how people are seemingly eating themselves to death?
Everything in moderation
The sooner the population accepts their own faults with regards to this matter, the sooner we will begin o see a change in the way people do things in America. Don’t just sit there and listen while pointing a finger. Get up and recognize the changes that must be made.
A little red meat here and there never hurt anyone. Don’t think you’ve got to cut out certain foods in order to lose weight. Everything in moderation, you’ve that before and it must be said again. No more pointing fingers at anyone but yourself!

I have also started to think likewise with a partial fasting method but with a twist and much more relaxed and simpler. So what i have been doing is skipping dinner time as i see this meal as un necessary. So i will still cook or accept my dinnertime meal only to eat it as a hearty breakfast. Then i eat a good lunch meal and come home to mentally resist raiding the cupboards and a trick i found was if the urge was too strong. Drink as much water as possible 1 or 2 glasses etc and that takes away the hunger cravings. I do fall off the wagon now and then usually on takeaway night. But mostly stick to the plan. My body has lost a large amount of weight and regulate my body weight more consistently now. Went from 98kgs a couple months ago to now 86kgs. I was aiming for 80-85. This method you need not worry about counting calories carbs etc just be mindful what you are consuming and eat in moderation. It will start off kinda hard but get easier with time as we are our whole lifes addicted to this unnecessary third meal.
