Preparing Your Own Raw Organic ACV

Ingredients you’re going to need:

  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Organic apples

Preparation:

First of all, you need to wash the apples thoroughly and then slice them into pieces. Next, put the apples in a glass jar, add 10 g sugar for every kilogram of apples. The fermentation process requires sugar, but it will be lost in the final product. After that, fill up the jar with water, cover it with gauze and leave it to sit in room temperature (20 Degrees Celsius).

After 7 to 10 days, the jar will start releasing a sour odor which means that you need to transfer the jar in some place other than your kitchen since the odor will get stronger and stronger. After a month, your homemade ACV will be ready to use.

Once ready, strain the liquid through the gauze and store it in sterilized glass bottles. If you want your ACV to be even more sour, you should allow it to sit for several more days before straining it.
